2005 To Be Turkey Year In Scandinavian Countries

KEMER - Viking Group and Tyrkia Reiser Tour owner Ibrahim Yildirim said, ''2005 will be Turkey Year in Scandinavian countries.''
Yildirim assessed Scandinavian market after Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Haugesund fairs which were held in Norway.
''More than 100,000 Scandinavians attended the fairs. They showed great interest to Turkish stand. This stemmed from steps which Turkey has taken about the EU,'' he said.
Yildirim said, ''we will start to bring Scandinavian tourists to Turkey as of March 10th. We aim to bring 25,000 Scandinavian tourists to the region this year. However, this figure may increase.''
