Four Missing Crew Members Of North Korean Cargo Ship Were Rescued

ANKARA - Turkish Naval Forces Command has stated that four missing crew members of North Korean cargo ship, which capsized off northern city of Sinop yesterday, were rescued today.
Releasing a statement, the command said, ''two out of those four missing crew members were rescued by the Salihreis Frigate of the Turkish Naval Forces, and the others were saved by the search-and-rescue helicopter.''
The cargo ship ''Adnan-1'' laden with iron and wood, was en route from the Russian port of Novorossiysk to Syria, capsized off Sinop in a snow storm.
Shortly after the ship sank, the seven crewmen were pulled alive from the sea by two army helicopters which were called to help the rescue operation after the bad weather prevented the local coast guard from acting. The crew included eight Syrians and three Egyptians.
