ANTALYA - Turkish police confiscated 10.5 kilograms of heroin in simultaneous operations in Antalya, Kahramanmaras, Ordu and Adana.
According to Antalya Police Dept. Organized Crime Division, a gang dealing drugs have been identified two months ago.
''Apparently, the drug dealers were utilizing Antalya and Istanbul airports, and railways via Edirne on their route to Britain, The Netherlands and Spain. The drugs were carried by individuals from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and certain European countries,'' said a police source.
A total of seven individuals have been arrested in regard to the case.
