TEL AVIV - The Palestinians expected Turkey's assistance regarding all areas, Muammer Yasar Ozgul, the Chairman of the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) Administration chairing Turkish technical delegation during its visit to Palestine, said on Sunday.
The delegation comprised of 20 people met Palestinian officials, and listened demands of the Palestinians, and listed areas Turkey could extend assistance.
''We mainly give priority to education. We can provide education and scholarships. Scholarships are granted to Palestinian students in Turkey. The number of these scholarships can be increased. And, we can also build a hospital in Gaza,'' Ozgul said.
900,000 U.S. dollars had been donated to Palestine, Ozgul added.
