State Minister Atalay Departs From Tbilisi

TBILISI - Turkish State Minister Besir Atalay departed from Tbilisi, Georgia on Sunday.
Atalay attended the funeral for Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania, who died on Thursday after being poisoned by carbon monoxide from a gas-fired heating stove.
Atalay told A.A correspondent prior to his departure that Zhvania was an important name who contributed the stability of Georgia.
Atalay said, ''Turkey attributes very much importance to its relations with Georgia, thus, we were here to offer our condolences to the Georgian government.''
''Political and economic life between two countries is improving each day. A big instability cannot be expected in Georgia after the death of Zhvania,'' he added.
