Video purports to show downing of British plane in Iraq: Jazeera

DUBAI, Jan 31 (AFP) - Al-Jazeera television on Monday aired a video purporting to show the downing of a British military transport plane in Iraq, saying the footage was filmed by the "Islamic National Resistance in Iraq," the second group to claim to have shot down the plane.
The footage showed a finger pressing a button, purportedly launching a rocket seen in the video, followed by a fireball and wreckage of what was alleged to be the British plane which crashed Sunday.
"The Green Brigade, one of the brigades of the 20s Revolution, the armed wing of the Islamic National Resistance in Iraq, claimed responsibility for the downing of the British military transport plane in a video, a copy of which was received by Al-Jazeera," the television said.
Earlier, the Al-Qaeda linked extremist group Ansar al-Islam claimed in an Internet statement it downed the plane. London said 10 personnel were killed in the crash.
