ANKARA (AA) - A row broke out during the 13th extraordinary congress of the Republican People`s Party (CHP) on Saturday.
     Speaking at the congress, CHP leader Deniz Baykal referred to allegations of corruption against Mustafa Sarigul, the mayor of Sisli district of Istanbul who earlier disclosed his candidacy for leadership.
     Tension escalated among supporters of Baykal and Sarigul.
     Several people were injured when participants threw iron bars to each other.
     After the row broke out, CHP Executive Board Chairman Sinasi Oktem called on policemen to intervene.
     Meanwhile, two photo-journalists were injured in their head during the row.
