LONDON (AA) - English Premier League club Manchester City have confirmed that they've reached a deal with Turkish first division club Fenerbahce to sell striker Nicolas Anelka.
A Manchester City spokesman said, ''Manchester City and Fenerbahce have agreed a fee for the transfer of Nicolas Anelka. The club will make no further comment until the transfer is complete.''
The former Arsenal and Real Madrid star moved from Paris Saint-Germain to Manchester City in 2002.
The 25-year-old French striker is now heading to Istanbul to hold talks after a reported 7 million British pound fee was agreed.
