ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's Special Representative to Iraq Osman Koruturk has been holding talks in Britain to discuss developments about Iraq.
Diplomatic sources told the A.A on Wednesday that Koruturk was currently in London under a compromise that had been reached during British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw's visit to Turkey on more comprehensive talks between Turkey and Britain on Iraq.
Sources said that during meetings with high-level officials of British Foreign Ministry, Turkish officials had been conveying their views about upcoming Iraqi elections.
Diplomatic sources said that Turkey had been following such a transparent and clear policy about Iraq issue which no other country had followed, adding that officials continued to express their uneasiness and views within that scope for the stability of Iraq.
Koruturk is expected to return to Turkey on Friday.
