ARBIL, Iraq, Jan 28 (AFP) - At least four people were wounded when two bombs exploded Friday night in the northern Iraqi city of Dahuk near offices of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), police said.
Two bombs exploded at 8:30 pm (1730 GMT) outside an abandoned building and near a school close to the offices of the KDP, which controls Dahuk and neighbouring Arbil, police said.
The normally calm Kurdish region of northern Iraq is bracing for attacks during the Iraqi elections on Sunday.
