The summer time practice will begin in Turkey at the end of March.
Clocks will wind forward by one hour at 3 a.m. on Monday, March 28 after the university exam on Sunday.
Through summer time practice, daylight will be used more, while electricity energy will be spent less.
According to Turkey’s electricity corporation, Turkey saves 600-700 million kWh of electricity p.a. through summer time practice.
The daylight saving practice will end on October 30, 2011.
