ISS crew make space walk

MOSCOW, Jan 26 (AFP) - The two-man crew of the International Space Station (ISS) carried out a space walk for more than five hours Wednesday to install an antenna and a transmitter before returning safely to the station, Russian mission control said.
Russian cosmonaut Salizhan Sharipov and American astronaut Leroy Chiao opened the hatch of the station at 0741 GMT to enter space and closed the hatch after their return to the space station at 1311 GMT, the mission control press service said.
The pair "fully completed the planned work," mission control said in a statement quoted by Interfax news agency.
