Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovi will pay a visit to Turkey in March 10-11 upon a formal invitation by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Prime Ministry Press Center released a statement and said the two prime ministers would assess bilateral relations as well as regional and international matters concerning the two countries during the tete-a-tete meeting and talks between the delegations of the two countries.
The statement said Turkey believed in the importance of dialogue and cooperation between the regional countries for a lasting peace and stability in the Balkans and attached high importance to Tripartite Consultation Mechanism carried out among Turkey, Bosnia-Herzegovina-Serbia aiming to contribute to efforts to strengthen prosperity.
The statement said the parties would also discuss joint projects and cooperation opportunities to boost regional cooperation and good neighborhood relations in the Balkans.
The statement said Turkey and Serbia were envisaged to sign agreements to cooperate in fight against terrorism and organized crimes and cooperation agreements on environment.
The statement underlined that Serbian prime minister would proceed to Istanbul on the second day of his to have talks with various business circles.
