Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan left for Germany on Sunday to make formal inauguration of the CeBIT, the digital industry’s biggest international event, in Hanover, Germany on February 28.
Erdogan will have a tete-a-tete meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel after the inauguration ceremony and meet with Turkish citizens living in Germany.
92 Turkish companies including Turk Telekom, Turkcell, Vodafone Turkiye, Koc Sistem, Vestel, Turksat, Karel, Istanbul Teknopark, ODTU (METU) and ITU Ari Teknokent would attend the CeBIT 2011 that would begin on March 1.
With around 4,000 attendees from more than 100 countries, the CeBIT Global Conferences are a major magnet. Under the heading "The power of creativity and innovation" high-caliber speakers from all over the globe will provide a comprehensive overview of the key digital technology markets.
Erdogan will return to Turkey on Tuesday to attend funeral of Necmettin Erbakan, the chairman of Felicity Party.
