WASHINGTON, Jan 25 (AFP) - The White House will seek 80 billion dollars in supplementary funding mainly for Iraq and Afghanistan, a US official said Tuesday.
Of the total, 75 billion were to be earmarked for Iraq and Afghanistan the official said privately.
The funds would include assistance for the Palestinians but not aid for tsunami victims in south Asia, the official added.
