Vodafone Turkey on Thursday said its service incomes in Q3 in 2010 went up 31.7 percent over the same period a year earlier, becoming the fastest growing operator within Vodafone Europe.
The number of subscribers increased by 1 million to reach 16.7 million with 4.1 million of them were post-paid subscribers, Vodafone Turkey said.
The operator said its voice traffic was up by 21 percent to 12.8 billion minutes and its average revenue per user reached 17.8 Turkish liras (slightly over ten U.S. dollars) that marked a 24 percent rise.
Vodafone Turkey said revenue from data traffic saw a powerful 155 percent increase, providing 1.8 million of its subscribers with mobile access to the Internet.
The operator also said a total of 1.8 million mobile phone users switched to Vodafone since number portability was introduced in Turkey, adding that its net promoter score was 18 higher than that of its closest competitor.
