RADIKAL- When the US was saying that it isn’t hostile and wouldn’t attack any country without any reason, countries against the US didn’t believe in this and said that the US is hostile. Now the US is saying clearly that it is considering the option of attacking Iran. The official response by Iran is that it doesn’t believe that the US would attack. This, according to them, is not reasonable.
What happened to Iran’s believes that the US was hostile? Is it reasonable to say that the US is hostile at times when it says it’s not and to say that it’s not hostile at times when it says it is? Politics is not reasonable.
Was US invasion of Iraq reasonable? Saddam Huseyin also said that it wouldn’t be reasonable. Is this reasonable? Was it reasonable when Saddam Huseyin acted as if Iraq had weapons of mass destruction? How reasonable was the Iran-Iraq war, which lasted eight years? The Vietnam War, World War II, the holocaust, Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbour and the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, were they more reasonable? Is Iran reasonable with its claims that women can’t be candidate for presidency? Was it reasonable during the days when it was doing everything to spread the Islamic revolution to Turkey?
Would the US and Israel attack Iran? Why should they not do it? In the past, Israel bombed Iraq for the same cause. The US invaded the country also for the same reason.
