Hundreds of people showed up in fron the Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, hoping to catch a glimpse of an invited star or of "The Donald," who stars in his own television reality show "The Apprentice."
After a less than 30-minute-long ceremony, the newlyweds waved to spectators from the back of a limousine.
"It was a beautiful ceremony," singer Billy Joel told reporters.
Other celebrities who were spotted included singer Tony Bennett, Miami Heat basketball star Shaquille O'Neal, supermodel Heidi Klum, former New York mayor Rudolph Guiliani and flamboyant boxing promoter Don King.
Some 400 guests were expected at the reception at his Mar-a-Lago mansion in Palm Beach to feast on filet mignon with green peppercorn sauce, drink champagne and dance to tunes from a 36-piece orchestra.
