SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, will start scheduled flights to Basel and Bremen and charter flights to Helsinki from Aegean province of Izmir in its summer schedule that would start on March 27, 2011.
SunExpress told a statement that 928 scheduled flights will take place in a week inside and outside the country.
Company`s Deputy Managing Director Haci Say said that SunExpress number of flights will be increased 34 percent when compared with last year.
Founded in 1989 as a subsidiary company of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, SunExpress became the market leader in charter flights between Germany and Turkey as well as one of the largest scheduled carriers between Europe and southern Turkey.
