A White House statement says US President Barack Obama and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a phone conversation, in which the two leaders confirmed the importance of Turkish-American cooperation and the determination of the sides to work together on various issues.
The statement says in the conversation US President Obama expressed his regret for the unacceptable actions of Wikileaks.
It is also stated that the two leaders have agreed that this incident would not affect the close cooperation between the two countries.
