BEVERLY HILLS, California, Jan 16 (AFP) - Annette Bening picked up the 2005 Golden Globe award for best actress in a comedy or musical on Sunday for her portrayal of an aging British stage actress in "Being Julia."
"I love my work, I love what I do and I appreciate this very much," said Bening, who paid a tongue-in-cheek tribute to her actor-husband Warren Beatty.
"Thank you to my husband, the lunch at the pizza joint was delicious," she said.
The other nominees were Ashley Judd for "De-Lovely," Emmy Rossum for "The Phantom of the Opera," Kate Winslet for "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and Renee Zellweger for "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason."
