MOSCOW (AA) - ''We want to contribute to not only (Middle East) peace process, but also the construction of Palestine'', Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan told Mahmoud Abbas, the newly-elected President of Palestinian National Authority, on Wednesday.
     Erdogan, who spoke to Abbas on the phone, congratulated him for being elected as the new president of Palestine.
     During the phone talk, Erdogan said, ''I want to meet you as soon as possible. I want to discuss what we can do regarding Israeli-Palestinian conflict. (Turkish) Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul returned from Palestine with good impressions. We want to contribute to not only the peace process but also to the construction of Palestine. A high-level (Turkish) technical team will visit Palestine in coming days to see what can be done. I expect you to pay a visit to Turkey.''
     Abbas told Erdogan that he really wanted to visit Turkey, and thanked Erdogan for his support to the Palestinian people.
