Turkish And U.S. Generals Debate Iraq And Afghanistan

ANKARA (AA) - General John Abizaid, the Commander of U.S. Central Command, met General Ilker Basbug, Turkish Deputy Chief of Staff, on Wednesday.
     Abizaid and Basbug exchanged views on recent developments in Iraq and Afghanistan during their meeting.
     After arriving in Turkish capital yesterday, gen. Abizaid has met Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul.
