ANKARA (AA) - Trial of former Turkish Prime Minister Mesut Yilmaz and former State Minister Gunes Taner in High Tribunal will start on February 16th, while the trial of former Turkish Public Works & Settlement Minister Koray Aydin will begin on February 24th.
Constitutional Court Deputy Chief Judge Hasim Kilic said pre-examination of the files of Yilmaz, Taner and Aydin was completed.
Yilmaz and Taner were sent to High Tribunal on charges of corruption in tender for sale of Turkbank.
Turkish Parliamentary General Assembly empowered on July 13th the Supreme Court to prosecute Yilmaz and Taner on charges of wrongdoing in Turkbank tender.
Aydin's trial was requested on charges of misusing authority and under Article 13th of Law on Fight Against Bribery and Corruption.
