ANKARA (AA) - Tunisian Foreign Affairs Ministry Representative in charge of European Affairs Hatim Bin Salim has arrived in Ankara on Tuesday to conduct bilateral meetings with his Turkish counterparts.
According to a statement released by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting of the ''Turkey-Tunisia Political Consultations'' will take place today under the leadership of the Turkish Foreign Affairs Ministry Undersecretary Ambassador Ali Tuygan.
''The consultations will focus on political and economic ties between the two countries. We will discuss regional and international issues, including the European Union and Middle East,'' said a Turkish diplomat.
Bin Salim will visit Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul later this evening.
