29 Illegal Immigrants Arrested In Erzurum

KARAYAZI/ERZURUM (AA) - Turkish security forces have arrested 29 illegal immigrants in the Karayazi town of Erzurum today.
     During an routine ID check at the Karayazi-Goksu highway, Turkish Gendarmerie forces stopped a truck driven by Oguzhan Ilhan. Officials detected 29 passengers on the truck. All of them were entered Turkey illegally.
     Turkish sources said that 28 of the detained persons were from Bangladesh, while one is from Afghanistan.
     The 29 illegal immigrants will be transferred to the Erzurum Police Dept. and will face possible deportation, according to a security source.
