BANDA ACEH (AA) - Turkish Red Crescent team continues aid in Banda Aceh city of Indonesia which was hit by earthquake-tsunami disaster in December, 2004.
Red Crescent team, on its second day in Banda Aceh, distributed water with trucks at Lampeunevrut camp.
The team, which established coordination with Red Cross officials in the region, is especially concerned with health conditions of children in Aceh where 35,000 children were left orphan due to disaster.
Aceh is completely populated with Muslims.
Death toll is more than 160,000 over the earthquake in southern Asia. Officials say death toll may increase.
