PARIS, Jan 11 (AFP) - Top tennis players Roger Federer, Andy Roddick and Lleyton Hewitt are to auction autographed rackets to aid victims of the Indian Ocean tsunami disaster, the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) said on Tuesday.
The last three year-end World No 1s have already donated the rackets which they used during matches and they will be authenticated by the ATP.
Bidding on the rackets, which will be mounted together in one framed presentation case opened on Tuesday and will continue until Friday. Bids can be placed at www.ATPtennis.com
All three players will be taking part in the first Grand Slam event of the year - the Australian Open - in Melbourne later this month.
