Death toll increased to 10 in a mine blast that hit a minibus near the southeastern city of Hakkari on Thursday.
The minibus was travelling between the villages of Gecitli -- 28 kilometers from Hakkari -- and Durankaya when the explosion occured and 10 people including the driver died at the blast, officials said.
Four people, including a 3-year-old kid and a 15-month baby, were injured in the explosion.
Commenting on the incident, Governor of Hakkari Muammer Turker said that citizens had found 3 backpacks and 2 explosive mechanisms at the scene of the explosion.
Turker said experts would now examine the mechanisms in order to determine the type of the explosives used in the attack.
