Serbia Beats Spain 92-89 And Becomes First Team To Proceed To Semi-finals

Serbia became the first team to advance to semi-finals at the 2010 World Basketball Championship after defeating Spain 92-89 on Wednesday evening.
Serbian Teodosic's three-point shot in the last three seconds of the game helped Serbia beat Spain, a team that had won the 2006 World Basketball Championship in Japan.
Spanish players, technical staff members and spectators were virtually stunned after Teodosic's three-point shot.
With this result, Spain and Greece, two teams that had played in the final game of the 2006 World Basketball Championship in Japan, could not become one of the top four teams in 2010.
In an other quarter final game on Wednesday, the Turkish national basketball team will take on Slovenia.
Turkey-Slovenia game will kick off at 21.00 hours.
