ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who also acts as leader of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) said, ''we cannot reshuffle the cabinet upon desire of the media.''
The AK Party Central Executive Board convened on Tuesday night.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Erdogan referred to recent news reports about a possible government reshuffle, and said, ''we cannot reshuffle the cabinet upon desire of the media. The cabinet reshuffle will take place when the time is right.''
Referring to recent discussions over ''presidential system'', Prime Minister Erdogan said, ''actually this system is not on our agenda. We are just monitoring the discussions regarding this issue. According to my opinion, it is useful to discuss such issues.''
