JERUSALEM (AA) - Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul has visited the Yadvashem genocide and holocaust museum in Jerusalem.
     Gul received information from the museum authorities and closely studied the photographs, documents and statistical data pertaining to the Jewish holocaust.
     Gul attended a ceremony in remembrance of six million Jews who lost their lives in the holocaust. Minister Gul put a wreath on the Yadvashem genocide memorial and signed the guest book. In his note, Gul wrote that the Turkish people is deeply saddened by the Jewish holocaust and that the Turks will always be supportive of the Jewish people. ''We hope that such an incident (the holocaust) will never repeat,'' recorded Gul.
