BANGKOK (AA) - Turkish Red Crescent team arrived in South Asia which was hit by earthquake and tsunami disaster last week.
     The team brought financial assistance worth of 400,000 U.S. dollars to the region.
     A logistics coordination and aid team will provide information exchange in Thailand while other groups will be active in Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
     The target of teams is to meet the needs of a town or village comprising nearly 500 families.
     Meanwhile, expert doctors and psychologists of the team will treat people or prepare list of medicines which can be provided from Turkey.
     First of three groups will depart for Aceh region of Indonesia tomorrow.
