ANKARA (AA) - Inflation rate in wholesale prices increased by 13.84 percent, while the rise in consumer prices was 9.32 percent in 2004, Turkish State Institute of Statistics (SIS) said on Monday.
SIS announced the inflation in wholesale prices in December of 2004 as 0.13 percent, and in consumer prices as 0.45 percent.
On the other hand, according to 12-month averages, the annual inflation was calculated as 11.09 percent in wholesale prices and 10.58 percent in consumer prices in 2004.
The rise in private manufacturing industry, considered as the core inflation, was 0.2 percent in December, and 10.6 percent in 2004.
