Turkish Police Arrest 50 Illegal Migrants In Istanbul And Kirklareli

ISTANBUL/KIRKLARELI (AA) - Turkish police arrested 50 illegal migrants in northwestern metropolis of Istanbul and northwestern city of Kirklareli, sources said on Wednesday.
     Sources noted that 45 illegal migrants who wanted to sneak into European countries were detained in five separate operations staged in Istanbul on Sunday (December 26th).
     On the other hand, five Somalians who wanted to cross the border illegally were arrested in Luleburgaz town of northwestern city of Kirklareli.
     The illegal migrants will be deported, while five people who aided and abetted the illegal migrants were sent to prison, and another was taken into custody.
