TBILISI (AA) - Turkish Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim said on Wednesday that the feasibility studies of Kars-Tbilisi-Ahilkelek railway project would start next year.
Turkey-Georgia Joint Transportation Commission meeting in Georgian capital Tbilisi ended and Yildirim and Georgia Economics & Infrastructure Alexi Alexishvili signed the protocol of the meeting.
Holding a news conference afterwards Yildirim said, ''Turkey and Georgia have reached full consensus about removing obstacles and liberalizing long-term in land transportation.''
Yildirim also said that research and feasibility studies of Kars-Tbilisi-Ahilkelek railway project would start next year.
