Parliament Approves 2005 Fiscal Year Budget Draft Law

ANKARA (AA) - The Turkish parliament approved the 2005 fiscal year budget draft law on Tuesday.
     ''The support our parliament has given to the proposed budget will strengthen our efforts for the future,'' said Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
     In an open voting, 346 deputies voted in favor of the proposed budget while 152 voted against it.
     The total budget value has been approved as almost 159 billion New Turkish lira (1 New Turkish lira = 1.36 U.S. dollar).
