Balandi Resigns From Ak Party

ANKARA (AA) - Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Afyon parliamentarian Reyhan Balandi resigned from her party on Thursday.
     Number of AK Party seats in the parliament dropped to 367 following Balandi's resignation and number of independent parliamentarians rose to 7.
     Most recent distribution of seats in the Turkish parliament is as follows:
    
     Justice and Development Party (AK Party): 367
     Republican People's Party (CHP) : 171
     True Path Party (DYP) : 4
     Independent : 7
