Turkish plane makes emergency landing, no injuries

ISTANBUL, Dec 24 (AFP) - A passenger plane operated by a private Turkish charter airline made an emergency landing at Istanbul airport on Friday after a fall in cabin pressure, but there were no injuries, an airline spokesman said.
The McDonnell Douglas MD82, operated by MNG airlines, was on its way from the popular tourist resort of Antalya in southern Turkey to port city of Hamburg in northern Germany at the time of the incident, the spokesman told AFP.
There were 160 passengers on board, most of whom were foreign, he said.
"Six passengers who said they did not feel well were examined by doctors and will be flown to Hamburg later in the day by a different carrier after some rest," the MNG spokesman said.
"The remaining passengers wil shortly take off on another plane operated by us," he added.
