ANKARA (AA) - There are 3,551,544 Turkish citizens living in other countries, said Turkish authorities.
According to the Turkish Labor and Social Security Ministry Directorate General of Foreign Relations and Foreign Labor Services, out of those 3.5 million Turkish citizens, 1,195,612 people have full-time jobs.

Turkish authorities have reported that, while Western European countries constituted the main countries where Turks migrated in the past 40 years, this trend has recently changed and Turkish workers now prefer to work in other countries, mainly Russia.
''In 2002, 10,137 Turkish workers went to Russia. Last year, 10,816 Turks went to Russia. Within the past four years, the number of Turkish workers visiting Russia reached 27,342,'' told a Turkish source.
Saudi Arabia was ranked second last year among countries to which Turkish workers migrated. 6,064 Turkish workers went to Saudi Arabia in 2003.
