Turkey Wants E.U. Screening Process To Start As Soon As Possible

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey wants screening process regarding EU accession negotiations to start as soon as possible.
     Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesman Namik Tan said during weekly news conference on Wednesday, ''we want screening process to start early, and we are exerting efforts for this. However, it is still not clear when this process will start.''
     ''The beginning date of screening process will be decided after mutual consultations. We want this process to start as soon as possible,'' said Tan.
