Palestine supporter Free Gaza Movement which is behind a few initiatives that try to annul Israel's Gazze siege stated that their central office in the Greek Cypriot side would be closed. Spokesperson of the Movement, Greta Berlin said that their office would be closed but they would continue to send vessels to help Palestine.
Berlin added that their office in the Greek Cypriot side could move to London and they aimed to send other vessels to help Gaza in the beginning of autumn.
Moreover, Berlin expressed that they decided to close their office in the Greek Cypriot side because Greek Cypriot Administration prohibited sending any vessel to help Gaza for their own vital interests.
According to the Greek Cypriot daily Kathimerini, EP Deputy Eleni Theoharus claimed that persons from Turkish National Intelligence Agency (MIT) were in the vessel attacked while it was going to Gaza but this claim was denied by Free Gaza Movement in Cyprus.
In his statement made to the newspaper, Berlin said that Teoharus' claims were unfounded and he should make his claims clear. Adding that he had the name lists of all the activists, Berlin stressed that if Teoharus indicated the doubtful persons, they were ready to investigate.
