ANKARA (AA) - The natural gas flow from Iran to Turkey resumed today after a brief break of four days.
AA correspondent has learned that the natural gas flowing from Iran to Turkey is below the level officially promised by Iranian authorities. The daily flow of 500,000 cubic meter natural gas initially went down to 50,000 cubic meter and came to a complete stop on Saturday, December 18 due to extremely cold weather in Iran.
Turkish Energy & Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler has stated that the short break in the flow of Iranian natural gas was solely due to technical reasons. ''The short break in the flow of Iranian natural gas did not cause any problems. The authorities will resolve the problem within two days,'' told Guler.
