ANKARA - A Turkish team of experts will soon arrive in Afghanistan to help Afghan authorities identify victims an air crash that occurred on May 17.
In a statement on Friday, Turkish Foreign Ministry said that Turkish team of seven experts from police department and forensic medicine institute are expected to arrive in the country later in the day.
A Pamir Airways passenger plane, en route from the northern city of Kunduz to Afghan capital Kabul crashed on May 17, killing all 44 on board, including six foreigners.
The ministry also said that Turkish government offered condolences to families of air crash victims.
