Security Forces Impound 18 Kg Of Heroin

HAKKARI (AA) - Security forces impounded 18 kilograms of heroin in Yuksekova town of eastern city of Hakkari.
     Hakkari Governor Erdogan Gurbuz told the A.A correspondent on Tuesday that security forces stopped and searched an automobile in the town, and confiscated 18 kg of heroin during the search.
     Four people were detained and taken to the Provincial Security Department for questioning, he said.
     Gurbuz added that security forces seized 407 kg of heroin and 304 kg of hashish in the city between 2003 and 2004.
