Erdogan speaks with Sarkozy, King Abdullah by phone

Erdogan held a telephone conversation with French President Nicholas Sarkozy and Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah. In his contacts, Erdogan reminded that Iran has officially handed her pledges to International Atomic Energy Agency.

Stating that the reaction of the Vienne Group to this Iranian move is of significant importance, Erdogan said "As a permanent-member of UN Security Council and Vienne Group, Turkey expects the support of France on the implementation of this agreement."

French President Nicholas Sarkozy underlined that the initiatives of Turkey and Brazil on the issue are quite positive steps and that the international community owes gratitude to Turkey for such efforts.

Sarkozy said "Accepting to stock the uranium in Turkey is a great responsibility."
