Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has set out on an 8-day visit to Latin American countries Brazil, Argentina, and Chile.
In Rio de Janerio Prime Minister Erdogan will attend the 3rd Forum of Alliance of Civilizations. The visit aims to achieve multi-dimensional Turkish foreign policy targets and to develop the recent wave of cooperation with these countries.
Erdogan will meet Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in his first stop. Bilateral ties, G-20, international and regional matters will be taken up in his contacts in Brazil.
In Argentina, Erdogan will meet President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner. Agreements on aviation, customs and mutual aid are expected to be signed between Turkey and Argentina.
Later on Erdodan will move on to Chile to meet President Sebastian Pinera. On June 2nd Erdogan will complete his contacts in Latin America and come back to Turkey.
