ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will go to Syria tomorrow (Wednesday) on an official visit, his office said on Tuesday.
Erdogan's office stated that Erdogan would sign free trade agreement, be received by Syrian President Bashar al-Asad, and attend luncheon to be hosted by al-Asad in his honor tomorrow.
He will deliver a speech at the Syrian-Turkish Businessmen's Council and attend dinner to be hosted in his honor by his Syrian counterpart Muhammad Naji al-Utri.
On Thursday (December 23rd), Erdogan will visit some touristic places in Syrian capital of Damascus and proceed to Aleppo. He will attend luncheon to be hosted by the Aleppo Governor.
After opening the Cultural Division of Turkey's Consulate General in Aleppo, Erdogan will visit Istanbul Photographs and Gaziantep Artifacts Exhibition and attend dinner to be hosted in his honor by al-Utri.
Erdogan is expected to return to Turkey late on Thursday.
