Leader Of Main Opposition Party Proposes To Freeze Talks

ANKARA (AA) - Deniz Baykal, the leader of the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), proposed on Friday to freeze talks with the European Union (EU) in case Turkey was imposed any other alternative than full membership.
     Baykal told a press conference that any other proposal than full membership was unacceptable.
     CHP leader Baykal said that what had been proposed to Turkey would not take Turkey to full membership.
