"While sanctions are tried to be imposed on a country that state it does not posses nuclear weapons, another country having it never comes to the scene", said Erdogan.

In an interview with a private TV channel, Erdogan, who asked why such means are chosen when there is a way to diplomacy, showing Iraq as an example, has underlined that diplomacy should be given priority.

Erdogan also emphasized that the protocols would not be approved in the Turkey Grand National Assembly before the problems between Azerbaijan and Armenia are solved.
